Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Geekbench listing reveals Exynos 2500 with 10-core CPU and 3.30GHz max speed

Samsung’s upcoming foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip FE, have already appeared on Geekbench. Recently, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, with the model number SM-F766U, was listed on the same platform. This listing confirms that it runs on an Exynos chipset.

According to Geekbench, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor, identified as “s5e9955” in the motherboard section. The chipset features a 10-core CPU optimized for both performance and efficiency. It includes two cores at 1.80 GHz, five cores at 2.36 GHz, two at 2.75 GHz, and a single high-speed core at 3.30 GHz.

The device also has an Xclipse 950 GPU, 12GB of RAM, and runs Android 15. In tests, it scored 2012 points in single-core performance and 7563 in multi-core. The “U” in the model number indicates that this is the US version of the Galaxy Z Flip 7.

Samsung previously used a dual-chip approach, offering Snapdragon phones in the US and China. Other markets received Exynos models. Now, with the appearance of the US version on Geekbench using an Exynos chip, it seems the Galaxy Z Flip 7 might come with the Exynos 2500 everywhere. However, it’s too early to be certain about the final chipset.

Reports say the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have a much larger 4-inch cover display, a key design change. The camera setup is expected to stay similar to the previous model, with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 10-megapixel front camera. The battery could increase to 4,300mAh.
