Samsung has announced the date for its next Galaxy Unpacked event, ending months of speculation. The company confirmed that the event will take place on July 9, 2025, in Brooklyn, New York, starting at 7 PM PKT.
This announcement comes after a leak from Evan Blass last week, which also predicted the same launch date. The event will be streamed live on YouTube and Samsung’s official website for viewers worldwide.
Expect this Galaxy Unpacked to reveal the latest Z foldables, including the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7. A new model, called the Z Fold Ultra, is also likely to make an appearance. Samsung’s teaser trailer hints at this with the phrase “Ultra Unfolds” at the end.
Have a look at the video below.
However, the phrase could refer to a different device, especially since some rumors suggest a Z Fold Ultra may not happen. We will have to wait for confirmation.
Samsung has not shared details about which devices will be shown. The company only said that its new Galaxy lineup is built around a fresh AI-powered user interface and advanced hardware. Rumors also suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, a more affordable version of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, may be unveiled at the same event.
More details should emerge as the launch day gets closer.
