Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 claims every top five spot in AnTuTu’s latest performance ranking

This month’s chart in AnTuTu’s latest performance ranking for Android flagships is all about the beginning of a new generation of smartphone chips.

We are already seeing how MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 stack up in real phones.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

The Red Magic 11 Pro+ takes the lead on the list. It is a gaming phone with the 8 Elite Gen 5 processor that received more than 4,132,403 points on AnTuTu.

Red Magic devices have always leaned heavily into the “gaming phone” identity, but this model goes a step further in cooling tech.

The phone uses both active air cooling and liquid cooling to maximize the chip’s long-term performance. The benchmark test demonstrates that it is an ambitious setup for ensuring stable performance.

Qualcomm rules the top five

The fact that the remaining top five include phones running the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is remarkable. In order, we have the OnePlus 15, iQOO 15, Honor Magic8, and Honor Magic8 Pro.

Even though these flagships don’t use as much cooling as Red Magic, the ranking shows that Qualcomm’s latest chips are performing well.

The OPPO Find X9, the Vivo X300, and the Dimensity 9500-powered Vivo X300 Pro (Satellite Edition) are ranked sixth, eighth, and tenth, respectively.

Although the benchmark numbers aren’t that far off, it’s a little surprising that phones powered by MediaTek didn’t reach the top.

It’s also worth noting how AnTuTu calculates its rankings. The score is the average score for that model over the course of the month, as opposed to reporting just one best benchmark attempt.

Therefore, don’t be surprised if the numbers differ from the flashy manufacturer demonstrations.
