TCL has introduced the Flip 4 5G, a new feature phone that blends a classic flip design with modern connectivity. It is now sold through T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile in the U.S. at a retail price of $79.99.

The phone has a 1.77-inch outer display for alerts and a 3.2-inch main LCD screen. Its large keypad is made for simple use, including shortcut keys and tactile feedback to help all users. TCL also added dual microphones with noise cancellation and HD Voice for clearer calls.
Running on KaiOS 4.0, the Flip 4 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor. It includes 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, with 23.9GB available for use. Users can expand storage with a microSD card. The device supports essential apps like Google Maps, YouTube, email, and a web browser.
It is equipped with a 5MP rear camera that can record video. The phone has a music player supporting formats like MP3 and FLAC. Other features include an FM radio, a calendar, a calculator, and basic note-taking tools.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and hotspot function. It supports many network bands, including GSM, LTE, and 5G NR, for good coverage everywhere. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C charging.
A 3000mAh battery provides up to 40 hours of talk time and over two days of use. TCL says it can be recharged in less than two hours.
Even with many smartphones on the market, the Flip 4 5G aims at users who want a simple, distraction-free phone. TCL sees it as ideal for seniors, teens, or anyone needing a reliable backup device. The phone offers key features without extra clutter and supports fast networks and good battery life.
Recently, TCL announced new TVs, including the C6K, C6KS, and P Series models in India. They feature QD Mini-LED screens and 144Hz refresh rates. In the U.S., TCL launched the 85-inch Q5K Google TV, priced at $749. It offers 4K QLED visuals with Dolby Vision support.
