Tecno Pova Curve could be launching soon, hints leaked teaser video

Tecno initially hinted at a new Pova phone back in February, showcasing an eye-catching design featuring a triangular camera module and LED highlights. Although there were no official announcements at that time, it seems the brand is now preparing to unveil the Pova 7 series in India this month. While Tecno has not yet made an official statement, a teaser video shared by 91mobiles through industry sources provides a sneak peek at the phone’s design. This video appears to connect with an earlier teaser released by Tecno in January.

The teaser video showcases the upcoming Pova phone, which features a distinctive triangular rear camera setup. At least two camera sensors are positioned vertically next to an LED flash. This camera module is situated above an orange strip, which may contain the power button on the side frame.

The back of the phone is flat, exhibiting a boxy shape with sharp edges, in line with current design trends. The tagline in the video, “A portal to the supreme,” hints at a focus on performance.

Notably, the design presented in this video closely mirrors what Tecno teased in January and February, especially the LED-lit triangular module seen in previous promotional materials. This rear LED configuration could operate similarly to the RGB Arc Interface found in earlier Pova models, like the Pova 5 Pro and Pova 6 Pro.

While Tecno has not officially confirmed the name, the teaser’s lyrics suggest it may be called the “Tecno Pova Curve.” This could signify a new identity within the Pova 7 series. If it follows the trend of its predecessors, the new Pova model is expected to offer enhancements over the Pova 6 Pro and Pova 6 Neo 5G, both of which were launched in India last year and featured large batteries, MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, and high-resolution cameras.
