Tecno Unveils Pova 7 and Pova 7 Pro with Unique Light Design

Tecno has introduced its well-known Pova series with two new models — the Pova 7 and Pova 7 Pro. Both phones offer strong features for those on a budget. They have been seen in many leaks and leaks. Now, the official launch has provided full details about the specs and design of the Tecno Pova 7 series.

The two models share a bold look. The most eye-catching feature is the Delta Light Interface. This is a triangular strip of 104 LED lights around the camera module. The light strip isn’t just for show. It can glow and respond to notifications, calls, music, charging, or gaming. It works in a way similar to the light on Nothing phones.

Display

The standard Pova 7 sports a 6.78-inch IPS LCD screen. It offers full HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 900 nits. The Pova 7 Pro upgrades to a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. It has a sharper 1220p+ resolution and the same 144Hz refresh rate. It also gets brighter, up to 4,500 nits of maximum brightness. It includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and 2340Hz PWM dimming for comfortable viewing. They are covered with Gorilla Glass 7i for added durability.

Performance & Internals

Under the hood, both models run on MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chips. They are paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage options.

Both models operate on Tecno’s HiOS 15, based on Android 15. They include Tecno’s DeepSeek technology and Ella AI assistant for added ease of use.

Cameras

The Pova 7 Pro features a 64MP main camera (Sony IMX682) along with an 8MP ultrawide lens. The regular Pova 7 has a 50MP main sensor plus an extra lens for support. Both phones have a 13MP selfie camera built into the display area.

Battery

Battery life is not a concern. Both phones are equipped with a large 6,000mAh battery. They support 45W wired fast charging. The Pro version adds wireless charging at 30W.

Prices, Colors, and Availability

The Pova 7 is available in Geek Black, Magic Silver, and Oasis Green. Prices start at $175 for the 8/128GB model and go up to $187. The Pova 7 Pro comes in Geek Black, Dynamic Grey, and Neon Cyan. It begins at $222 for the 8/128GB version. The top-tier 8/256GB option costs $234.

Both phones will be sold in India from July 10 through Flipkart. It’s still unclear when they will arrive in other markets, including Pakistan.
