Telenor Pakistan Launches WhatsApp-Based SIM and Service Management Solution for Seamless Connectivity Nationwide

Telenor Pakistan has reached a key point in its shift to digital services. The company now offers a WhatsApp service for buying SIMs, replacing lost ones, and adding bundles. This changes how people connect through mobile networks. The service puts customer ease first. It lets users get a SIM in a quick, safe way without going to a store. People can handle new SIMs, swaps, and bundles right on WhatsApp. That’s a tool they know and use each day.

With this full digital option, users start a chat on WhatsApp at UAN: 051 111-345-100. They pick their city, number choice, and bundle type. Then they share personal info and pay. The SIM arrives at their door. At delivery, staff check biometrics for safe setup. This easy process raises the bar for telecom support.

“We are proud to be at the forefront of digital innovation,” said Waqas Amanullah, Chief Consumer Business Officer, Telenor Pakistan. “By enabling SIM purchases and bundle management through WhatsApp , we are putting the power of connectivity directly into our customers’ hands—making it easier, faster, and more accessible than ever. This initiative reflects our broader vision of promoting digital inclusion across Pakistan.”

The buy-and-replace SIM option works in more than 20 cities now. That includes Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Multan, and Faisalabad. More cities will join soon. Bundles work everywhere in the country. The service fits city and near-city users. It brings known, easy, and safe links that open digital doors for all.

This step shows Telenor Pakistan’s work to use tech for simpler days, wider access, and top customer care nationwide.
