Vivo has recently added the V50e to its V50 series, which already includes the V50 5G, V50 Lite 4G, and V50 Lite 5G. The V50e is designed to deliver a high-end experience at an attractive price point, featuring a refreshed design, an enhanced camera system, and a quicker charging battery compared to its predecessors.
Design and Display
The V50e boasts a stylish, quad-curved AMOLED display that measures 6.77 inches. This screen offers a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, providing fluid visuals for both videos and gaming. It is safeguarded by Diamond Shield Glass, developed in partnership with Schott Glass, and can achieve up to 1,800 nits brightness for HDR content, with a peak brightness of 2,700 nits in a smaller area.

An in-display fingerprint sensor allows for swift unlocking, while the centered punch-hole cutout accommodates the front-facing camera. Additionally, the device is rated IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance.
Internals and Software
The V50e is powered by a Dimensity 7300 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM. Customers can select from either 128GB or 256GB storage options. Operating on Funtouch OS 15 (based on Android 15), the phone guarantees three Android version upgrades and four years of security updates, ensuring users can keep their devices current with the latest software enhancements and security patches.
Cameras

On the rear, the V50e features a 50MP primary camera based on the Sony IMX882 sensor, complete with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside another 50MP ultrawide lens that offers a 116° field of view. A circular Aura Light flash enhances the camera setup, which also includes exclusive wedding-style portrait filters for India (Prosecco, Neo-Retro, Pastel) and AI capabilities like Image Expander and Photo Enhancer.
For selfies, the V50e is equipped with a 50MP front camera located in the punch-hole cutout, now capable of recording in 4K.
Battery and Pricing
The V50e is equipped with a robust 5,600 mAh battery, and Vivo has enhanced the charging capability to 90W, an upgrade from the 80W offered in the last generation. It comes in two attractive colors: Sapphire Blue and Pearl White. In India, the phone will launch on April 17, with the 8GB/128GB model priced at $340 and the 8GB/256GB version available for $360.
