Vivo is set to unveil the X200 Ultra next week, following a series of teasers. The company has now released detailed images of the device in all three available colors, each featuring a textured back panel. Additionally, Vivo has shared more sample photos, highlighting portrait shots taken at 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm focal lengths, clearly demonstrating the phone’s capability to capture portraits across various ranges.

Vivo is also promoting the X200 Ultra as a potential replacement for a DSLR. A new promotional video showcases this feature, along with previous landscape images. The phone is being marketed as a serious photography tool, rather than just another smartphone.

Previously, Vivo disclosed the complete camera specifications for the device. The primary 35mm camera is equipped with a Sony LYT-818 sensor and a Zeiss T*-coated GLC 2.0 lens. It features optical stabilization with CIPA 5.0-level OIS, minimizes visible light reflection to below 0.1%, and incorporates Vivo’s third-generation VCS bionic spectral imaging technology.

The ultra-wide camera also utilizes a LYT-818 sensor, developed in collaboration with Zeiss. It boasts a 14mm “Hawk Eye” lens that captures 181% more light and has a shutter speed that is 216% faster than its predecessor. This camera also includes dual-axis OIS.
The 85mm telephoto lens is equipped with a 200MP Samsung HP9 sensor, marking the first APO-grade telephoto configuration in a smartphone. It features a six-element design and 5.0-level OIS, with claims of being 38% more effective in low-light conditions and 41% more stable.
Powered by the new VS1 chip, Vivo’s first AI image processor, the phone delivers 80 TOPS of performance. It processes bokeh, HDR, and multi-frame shots in real time. The camera system supports focal lengths ranging from 24mm to 100mm, offers 4K portrait video capabilities, and includes various night modes such as Supermoon and Starry Sky.
