Vivo X200 Ultra’s dedicated Camera button Revealed in First Official Image, compared with iPhone 16 Pro Max

Vivo is hinting at the launch of several new smartphones in China. Among them are the Y300 Pro+ and Y300t, set to be officially announced on March 31. Additionally, the Vivo X200S and X200 Ultra are expected to make their debut in the latter half of April. Today, Han Boxiao, Vivo’s Product Manager, shared the first official image of the X200 Ultra.

Vivo X200 Ultra’s dedicated Camera Shutter Down

The official image of the Vivo X200 Ultra highlights its right side, showcasing a dedicated camera button rather than its front or back design. This marks Vivo’s first smartphone to include this innovative hardware feature. Furthermore, the image indicates that the Vivo X200 Ultra will be sleeker than the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The new button stands out with a blue accent that adds a touch of flair. Located lower on the frame, this dedicated camera shutter button is not merely a standard press button; it seems to incorporate a sliding function. This design is intended to improve the photography experience, particularly when capturing images in landscape mode or fine-tuning settings. The sliding feature may enable users to have precise control over zoom, focus, or exposure, leading to better composition of their shots.

Photography will be a key focus for the Vivo X200 Ultra. Reports indicate that the device will boast a triple camera system, including a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-818 primary camera with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-818 ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel Samsung HP9 periscope telephoto camera.

To further enhance the photography experience, the X200 Ultra will be equipped with the Vivo S1 pre-processing chip and the V3+ post-processing chip. Additionally, it is expected to feature a triple LED flash, which will significantly improve low-light photography capabilities.
