Earlier this week, Huang Tao, Vivo’s Product Vice President, hinted at a hidden fourth camera for the upcoming X200 Ultra. Although the device already boasts a triple camera configuration, there was speculation about an external accessory designed to boost its photography features. Now, Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao has confirmed this exciting news.
Vivo X200 Ultra: 200MP Super Telephoto Lens Attachment Revealed
The fourth camera for the Vivo X200 Ultra is an independent super-telephoto lens created in partnership with ZEISS. Featuring the ZEISS Blue Label branding, it includes a 200-megapixel sensor with a 200mm focal length and an f/2.3 aperture, providing an impressive 8.7x optical zoom to enhance mobile photography.

This external lens is constructed with a 3-group, 13-element Kepler-style design, utilizing high-transmittance glass elements to ensure exceptional clarity and accuracy. It incorporates RMSC technology, allowing for a secondary zoom stage that achieves an 800mm equivalent (35x) zoom and up to 1600mm (70x) digital zoom, maintaining image quality comparable to traditional 30x systems.

The external lens is part of the Vivo X200 Ultra Photography Kit, which connects to the device via USB Type-C for minimal latency. The kit includes a 2,300mAh battery, a vintage-style case with a kickstand, a professional shoulder strap, and an Action Button for video recording.
