Vivo has introduced the Y300 GT, adding a new midrange option to its Y-series lineup. This device shares many specs with the iQOO Z10 Turbo, focusing on high refresh rates, quick charging, and strong hardware.
Design and Display
The phone comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, offering Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It can reach a peak brightness of 5,500 nits, so it’s easy to see in sunlight. The in-display optical fingerprint sensor provides secure unlocking. It is available in Desert Gold and Black finishes.
Internals and Software
Under the hood, the Y300 GT runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chip. It pairs with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The hardware is designed for smooth multitasking and gaming. It runs on OriginOS 15, based on Android 15 because it’s the Chinese model. The global version will likely come with Funtouch OS, as usual.
Cameras
At the back, there’s a 50MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor. It supports features like portrait and night modes. On the front, a 16MP camera is placed at the top center of the screen, good for selfies, video calls, and social media.
Battery
One of the main features is its 7,620 mAh battery. It supports 90W wired fast charging for quick power-ups. The large battery is meant to give long screen-on time, even with heavy use.
vivo Y300 GT Price
The starting price for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage is about $277 (PKR 77,999). The top model with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage costs around $346 (PKR 97,400). Vivo has not yet shared details about when it will be available internationally.
