WhatsApp Disappearing Messages Options
The 12-hour option offers more balance. It gives recipients time to see messages during the day. Afterward, the content disappears. This suits event plans or daily tasks.
These new timers grant users more control. Different needs require different levels of privacy. WhatsApp wants users to choose the message visibility duration.
WhatsApp recently updated its “About” status. Profile notes can now expire after 30 minutes, 1 day, or 1 month. This keeps profiles current and relevant.
Shorter timers for disappearing messages follow this trend. The 1-hour timer aids privacy and speed. The 12-hour timer offers practicality. They provide more ways to manage chats.
This feature is still being developed. It is not yet available to everyone. Expect it in a future update. WhatsApp might add even more timers later.
