The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is scheduled to be launched at the end of this month in China. As the release date draws near, it is expected that more definitive information regarding the device will emerge. Today, a new image of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which draws inspiration from Leica cameras, has appeared on Chinese social media. This image highlights a distinctive dual-tone design that conveys the essence of a professional photography experience.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra Leaked Image

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra depicted in the image above seems to draw inspiration from the design aesthetics of the Leica M1 rangefinder camera. Similar to the Leica model, the 15 Ultra showcases an exquisite silver-black dual-tone finish, likely crafted from glass and leather materials.
This device is characterized by a prominent round camera module that occupies nearly the entire upper section. It includes a pill-shaped LED flash, the Leica logo, and four cameras, one of which is a periscope telephoto lens. Given the potential inclusion of a 6,000mAh battery, the overall weight of the device may exceed 200 grams.
The fine print beneath the Leica branding, stating “LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.63-26/14-100 ASPH,” provides insight into the camera capabilities of the 15 Ultra. This flagship model from Xiaomi is equipped with a Leica Summilux lens, featuring a main camera aperture of f/1.63, consistent with its predecessor, as noted by the tipster Experience More.
The periscope telephoto lens features an aperture of f/2.6, a focal length equivalent to 100mm, an effective aperture of f/9.828, and a physical focal length of 26.4mm, which is similar to Samsung’s earlier 10x zoom technology. The ultra-wide-angle lens offers a focal length of 14mm, rendering it slightly narrower than that of the previous model.
In comparison, Vivo’s equivalent aperture stands at f/10.09 with a focal length of 22.49mm, while the largest equivalent aperture for a telephoto lens in the industry is attributed to Honor, measuring f/7.1.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is anticipated to be unveiled alongside the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra car on February 28 in China.
