Xiaomi is expected to unveil the much-awaited Xiaomi 15 Ultra later this month. An unofficial poster circulating on Weibo has disclosed the launch date for the device in China. Furthermore, a hands-on video showcasing the phone has surfaced, providing a detailed view of its rear design.

The poster mentioned above indicates that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to be launched at 7 PM (local time) on February 26 in China. This device is anticipated to be presented at the MWC 2025 technology exhibition for an international audience. The MWC event is planned to occur from March 3 to March 6 in Barcelona, Spain.

The recently released hands-on video of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra supports the latest rumors regarding the device. The smartphone showcases a redesigned quad-camera arrangement, featuring Leica branding and a pill-shaped LED flash, distinguishing it from its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

According to various reports, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to include a one-inch 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary camera equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). This will be accompanied by a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom and macro capabilities, and a 200-megapixel Samsung HP9 periscope telephoto lens with 4.3x optical zoom. For self-portraits, the device is anticipated to incorporate a 32-megapixel OmniVision OV32B sensor.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is anticipated to incorporate a 6.8-inch AMOLED LTPO display characterized by a micro-quad-curved design. It is expected to provide a 2K resolution alongside a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device will operate on the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and will feature HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. While it is projected to launch in China with configurations of up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, the international market may receive a single variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
