Recently, two smartphones with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chips, the iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro and the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, launched in China. Now, a new leak suggests another Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 phone will arrive in China this month. Here’s what we know about this upcoming device.

The leak from tipster Digital Chat Station hints that the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, which will run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, is expected to launch soon in China. Recall that the Civi 4 Pro released in March 2024, featured the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip.
A key feature of the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro appears to be its camera system. It will have a 50MP OIS + 12MP UW + 50MP telephoto lens on the back, but it’s not yet clear if it’s a regular telephoto or a periscope lens. The front camera is 32MP, and front and rear cameras will be tuned for better low-light photos.
The phone will sport a medium-sized 120Hz OLED quad-curved display with a resolution of 1.5K and slim bezels on all sides. It will be powered by a large battery over 6,000mAh, which may support 67W fast charging speeds. The device is likely aimed at young, fashion-conscious users, fitting the style of the Civi brand.
Price details are not available yet. But analysts expect it to cost between 3,500 Yuan / $485 (PKR 136K) and 4,000 Yuan / $550 (PKR 155K).
