ZTE unveiled its newest series of gaming smartphones, the Nubia Neo 3 series, during MWC Barcelona 2025. Tailored for mobile gaming aficionados, this series comprises the Nubia Neo 3 GT 5G, Neo 3 5G, and Neo 3 4G. The latest models are designed to provide an improved gaming experience through enhanced performance, a sophisticated cyber-mecha aesthetic, and features specifically geared toward gaming.
Performance and Gaming Features
The Nubia Neo 3 GT 5G stands as the premier model within its series, showcasing the UNISOC T9100 5G gaming processor, with a maximum of 24GB of dynamic RAM (12GB plus 12GB virtual) and 256GB of internal storage capacity. It features ZTE’s NeoTurbo AI performance engine, designed to enhance system resource management for seamless gaming experiences. The device is powered by a robust 6000mAh battery, which is further enhanced by 80W fast charging capabilities, allowing for prolonged gaming sessions. To effectively manage thermal output, the smartphone is equipped with a 4083mm² VC cooling panel.

In contrast, the Nubia Neo 3 5G, another variant with 5G capabilities, operates on the UNISOC T8300 processor and provides up to 20GB of RAM (8GB plus 12GB virtual). It shares numerous gaming features with the GT model, including gaming shoulder triggers, a Z-Axis linear motor for accurate haptic feedback, and the AI-driven NeoTurbo performance engine. The battery capacity remains at 6000mAh, but it supports 33W fast charging.

Both models are equipped with the AI Game Space 3.0, which provides customizable gaming modes and enhancements for performance. Furthermore, an AI translation feature enables real-time language translation during calls and conversations.
Design and Display
The Nubia Neo 3 GT 5G is equipped with a 6.8-inch OLED gaming display that boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 1080×2392, and a maximum brightness of 1300 nits. It is capable of displaying the full 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and features a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, ensuring vivid and dynamic visuals. In contrast, the standard Nubia Neo 3 5G also offers a 6.8-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, but it employs an FHD LCD panel with a peak brightness of 1000 nits.

Both variants showcase a cutting-edge cyber-mecha design, incorporating RGB lighting elements that contribute to a gaming-centric aesthetic. The flat-sided structure and integrated shoulder triggers further enhance the ergonomic design, providing an improved experience during gaming sessions.
Nubia Neo 3 Pricing and Availability
The Nubia Neo 3 series will be available globally starting in late March 2025. Pricing for the Nubia Neo 3 5G begins at €249 ($262, PKR Around 75K), while the flagship Nubia Neo 3 GT 5G starts at €299 ($314, PKR Around 90K).
